My New Year Resolution

Thank God- that I didn’t persevere for achieving the New Year resolutions in the past. Had it been otherwise-there would be nothing much to choose from this time….!

Crushed testicles

An elderly man crushed his testicles on fall and is unconscious…. The son who is bound to look after him denies him a proper treatment just bcoz of the huge medical bill it മെയ്‌ incur, even though he received a lion’s share of father’s property just for this…The church intervened and got the old man admitted in the hospital…. Another son who is in United States of America for the last 25 years, on much persuasion from the community, agrees to shed 25000 rupees for the noble cause!........... A flash back of 35 years find this same old man turning his head away from his bed- ridden mom-only to be looked after by some good Samaritan! ……Reminds me of ‘ Law of the nature’. My only worry now is about the fate of testicles of those ‘so called sons’. Its only half time guys….Play is still on!

The ‘Game’ Called Life

Pele marked his final game by playing for both the teams in the match- switching to other side at the half time!. People follow him, but this time not in game -but in real life, by switching to other side unexpectedly and scoring to own goal posts. Alas, with their sweetened tongues they are even capable of convincing the referee. Wait before you cry - ‘you too…Brutus’, instead yell at heaven: ’Heh Ram…Forgive them, for they know not what they do!

Disregarding Liu Xiaobo's struggle for democracy, the case is just another story of intellectual pimping of Nobel Committee to the West. This time- Pinch the bigger enemy with a Nobel Peace Prize!Credibility of this renowned prize? Well, Mahathma Gandhi was considered twice for it but failed to make it……! But Yes, Obama got it, for his so called ‘vision future for the world’ (read America), in his election manifesto!. Remember, in his capacity, a mere perception is sufficient to win a Nobel.For our part now, as long as it is China at receiving end, let us stay on the other side of the fence.
